The Queer Student Union proudly presents its semesterly Big Gay Callout. Come meet some of the many Queer and Queer-friendly organizations on campus, learn more about Purdue departments and organizations, and meet new people! This semester there will be three short speakers, followed by a resource fair.
The callout is for everybody, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity. You don't have to be big or Gay, it's just a cute name!

Want to learn more about the lesbian, gay, bisexual, asexual, transgender, intersex, and queer (LGBTQ) community at Purdue? Are you an ALLY? What about an activist? Educator? Or just want to meet new people? All are welcomed to come and find out about the resources on campus and in the community for LGBTQ students and allies, including the Queer Resource Center, the Queer Student Union, ALLY Association, and the National Organization for Gay and Lesbian Scientists and Technical Professionals. If you cannot attend this session, feel free to stop by the Queer Resource Center (Stewart G20) during the semester to find out about upcoming events, meet people, or just take a break between classes.

Boiler Gold Rush
The Queer Student Union will be holding a BGR Interest Session (called, "The Big Gay Interest Session") on Monday, August 16th and Tuesday, August 17th both at 4:30 pm until 5:15 pm. Stop by and check us out then in ARMS 1103!

3. "VOICES OF HONOR" DADT REPEAL RALLY
Wednesday, April 28

Purdue Memorial Mall
Come join QSU and the Human Rights campaign as we rally to support the repeal of the military's discriminatory Don't Ask Don't Tell policy. The HRC's Voices of Honor Tour has made its way across the country as well as Indiana and is now coming to West Lafayette.
Events will be occuring throughout the day at the following times and locations.
7:00am: Placement of American flags on Purdue Memorial Mall to symbolize all 800 specialists that have been discharged under DADT
1:00pm - 2:00 pm: Voices of Honor, Press conference at Memorial Mall with local veterans and will be covered by local news media.
*THIS IS THE MAIN EVENT!! WE NEED YOU AND ALL YOUR FRIENDS TO ATTEND!!*
7:00pm: "Ask Not" screening, a PBS documentary, followed by a discussion with veteran leaders fighting for the repeal of DADT. This event will occur at Pride Lafayette located at 640 Main Street Lafayette, Indiana.
