QSU Weekly Email

Hi everyone!
Hope you're all having "fun" studying for finals!

Tonight, April 25, at 6pm in the QRC (STEW G20), we are having a re-launch of the Link, a newsletter published by the QSU!

Tomorrow will be our last QSU meeting of the semester at 6pm in the QRC! Come on down and socialize with the new QSU Board!

Afterward, at 7pm, Citizens for Civil Rights and Indiana Equality Action will be holding a Town Hall Meeting at Pride Lafayette Center on Main St. in downtown Lafayette to discuss this year’s session of the Indiana General Assembly and how their actions affect the LGBTQ community.

This Wednesday, April 27, come joixn the Indiana Transgender Rights Advocacy Alliance (INTRAA) in a film screening of "Red Without Blue" and a panel discussion of transgender issues! It will be in Grissom 180 at 7pm!

On Thursday, April 28, will be Lavender Graduation from 7 to 9pm in the Purdue Memorial Union Anniversary Drawing Room! Dr. Melissa Exum, Vice President for Student Affairs, will be giving the keynote! You’re invited to attend the four-year anniversary celebration of the Native American Educational and Cultural Center (NAECC) at Purdue University. The festivities will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2011 from 3:00 to 5:00 pm outside the NAECC.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture is now accepting applications for the 2011 USDA Public Service Leaders Scholarship Program!  This program provides a combined scholarship and internship opportunity to college and university students leading to permanent employment with USDA upon completion of their degree.
